Build trust between speakers of all languages. We say what you mean. The need to ensure decent work and comply with labour standards in our profession led to the founding of the Associated Interpreters of Barcelona. We firmly believe that interpreting can be provided in conditions that allow us both to give our customers optimal results and ensure proper working conditions at all times. This philosophy makes us happy, proud of our work as professionals and enthusiastic about our project. Everyone wins as a result, because the upshot of being fully committed is excellent work. Quality and rigour work to the benefit of all. |

AIB is a corporate partner of SOS Children's Villages, the largest organisation that cares for vulnerable children. This NGO is guided by the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child that was adopted in Helsinki in 1989, at a conference that some of AIB's members interpreted for as volunteers. This is just one more example of our commitment to human rights, which our members also enact individually through their ongoing volunteer work. We interpret regularly for organisations such as Amnesty International, Medicus Mundi and the Red Cross. Every year, our members take part in International Volunteer Day, allowing us to put into practice our social commitment to the community we live in as well as contribute to our own team-building. |
